সম্প্রতি রোহিঙ্গা সমস্যা আরো বেশি প্রকট রূপ ধারণ করেছে। আর এর প্রভাব এসে পড়েছে বাংলাদেশের উপর। বান্দরবানের নাইক্ষ্যংছড়ি সদর ইউনিয়নের চাকঢালা ও আশারতলি সীমান্তের নো ম্যানস ল্যান্ডে পাঁচ দিন ধরে অবস্থান করছে হাজারো রোহিঙ্গা। সেখানে তারা সীমান্তের ছয়টি পয়েন্টে পাহাড়ে পলিথিন দিয়ে তাঁবু টাঙিয়ে দিন কাটাচ্ছে। বিজিবির সতর্ক পাহারার কারণে তারা বাংলাদেশের ভেতরে ঢুকতে পারছে না।তবে বান্দরবনে না পারলেও কক্সবাজার ও টেকনাফে সমুদ্রপথে অনেকেই চেষ্টা করে চলেছে বাংলাদেশে আসার। যার ফলে গত কিছুদিন নৌকাডুবিতে বেশ কয়েকজন রোহিঙ্গা নারী-পুরুষ ও শিশু মারা গিয়েছে।

চলমান দুর্নীতি ও অর্থ পাচারের মামলায় অভিযুক্ত পাকিস্তানের সাবেক প্রধানমন্ত্রী নওয়াজ শরীফ একেবারের মতন দেশ ছেড়েছেন। আদালতের রায়ে পদচ্যুত হওয়ার পর গত বুধবার লন্ডনের উদ্দেশে দেশ ছেড়েছেন তিনি।যদিও নিজের এই সফরকে সবার কাছে অসুস্থ স্ত্রীর সাথে দেখা করতে যাওয়ার সফর বলেই জানিয়েছেন নওয়াজ শরীফ। উল্লেখ্য, ১৯৯৯ সালে সামরিক অভ্যুত্থানে ক্ষমতাচ্যুত হন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নওয়াজ। পরের বছর দুর্নীতির অভিযোগে যাবজ্জীবন সাজাপ্রাপ্ত হন। পরে সৌদি আরবে নির্বাসিত জীবন কাটান। ২০০৭ সালে দেশে ফেরেন তিনি।

প্রতিবারের মতন এবারেও দেশে বেশ খানিকটা যানজট তৈরি হয়েছে ঈদ উল আযহায় বাড়ি ফেরাকে কেন্দ্র করে। তবে কিছু মহাসড়কে প্রচন্ড জ্যাম থাকলেও কয়েকটি রাস্তা রয়েছে একেবারেই ফাঁকা। তাই বাড়ি যাওয়ার ক্ষেত্রে কেউ যেমন মুখোমুখি হচ্ছেন অসম্ভব সমস্যার, তেমনি অনেকে পৌঁছে যাচ্ছেন খুব দ্রুত। যে স্থানগুলোতে অন্যান্য বছর প্রচন্ড জ্যাম দেখতে পাওয়া যায়, সেগুলোতে এই ঈদে যান সংকট তৈরি হয়েছে। ঈদে যানজটের জন্য সবার কাছে বেশ ভয়ঙ্কর একটি রাস্তা ঢাকা-চট্টগ্রাম মহাসড়ক। এ বছর বেশ ফাঁকা রয়েছে এই মহাসড়কটিও।

Recently the Rohingya problem has become more acute. Its impact is affecting Bangladesh. Thousands of Rohingya have been staying in No Man's land for five days on the Chakdhala and Ashartali border of Naikhongchari sadar union of Bandarban. There they are living under the tents made of polythene in the six points of the border. They are unable to enter Bangladesh because of the guards of BGB. As they cannot  enter  in to the Bandarban, ,many people are trying to enter  Bangladesh via Cox's Bazar and Teknaf . As a result, a number of Rohingya women, men and children have died in boat shed for the last few days.

Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who is accused in running corruption and money laundering, left the country forever.  After the Deposed of the court, he left the country for London on Wednesday. Although Nawaz Sharif said he is going to meet everyone and also his sick wife. It is to be noted that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was ousted in a military coup in 1999. Later, he spent his exile in Saudi Arabia. He returned to the country in 2007.

As usual, a lot of traffic has been made in the country  during returning home to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha. Although some highways have heavy jams, there are few roads which are completely empty. So, in this difficult situation, some are facing trouble to go home where many are getting it very quickly . In some places where tremendous jam has been seen for other years, there crisis has been created in this Eid for transportation. Dhaka-Chittagong Highway is a very dangerous road for everyone to ride the Eid. This highway is quite empty this year.
