অজানাকে জানার চেষ্টা আমাদের বরাবরই। আর সেই লক্ষ্যেই আরও এক ধাপ এগিয়ে গিয়েছে বিজ্ঞানীরা। আজকের এই দিনটি বিজ্ঞানের গবেষণার ইতিহাসে অবিস্বরণীয় একটি দিন। কারন ২০০৮ সালের এই দিনে মহাবিশ্বে ঘটে যাওয়া জানা-অজানার ছোট থেকে ছোট তথ্য খোঁজার উদ্দেশ্যে অবশেষে চালু হয় লার্জ হেডরন কোলাইডার বা এলএইচসি নামের একটি মহাযন্ত্র। বলা হয়ে থাকে ঈশ্বরের কণা এর খোঁজ করতেই এই গবেষণা। আসলে সৃষ্টির শুরু যে বিগ ব্যাং, এর পূর্বাবস্থা এবং সবচেয়ে প্রাচীন কণা কে নিয়ে গবেষণার জন্য এই প্রজেক্ট, যেখানে কৃত্রিম ভাবে বিগ ব্যাং এর পরিবেশ সৃষ্টি করা হয়।

এটি ভূগর্ভের প্রায় একশো মিটার নীচে অবস্থিত বৃত্তাকার একটি টানেল। যার ব্যাস ২৭ কিলোমিটার৷ এখন পর্যন্ত বিজ্ঞানের ইতিহাসে আবিষ্কৃত যন্ত্রের মধ্যে এটিই সবচেয়ে জটিল মেশিন৷ যা বানাতে খরচ হয়েছে প্রায় ৩.৭৬ বিলিয়ন ইউরো৷ আর সময় লেগেছে কত জানেন? প্রায় দুই দশক!

২০০৮ সালের আজকের এই দিনে মেশিনটি চালু করা হয়। এই মহাযন্ত্র থেকে প্রাপ্ত তথ্য পেতে 'দ্য গ্রিড' নামের এক বিশেষ নেটওয়ার্কের মাধ্যমে সারা বিশ্বের অসংখ্য কম্পিউটার যন্ত্রটির সাথে যুক্ত করা হয়েছে।

জেনেভা শহরের অদূরে অবস্থিত সুইস-ফরাসী সীমান্তে ইউরোপীয় পরমাণু গবেষণা সংস্থা (সিইআরএন)-এর বিজ্ঞানীরা কণার রশ্মি ভাঙার এই মেগাযন্ত্র প্রথমবারের মতো চালু করেন ১০ই সেপ্টেম্বর ২০০৮ সালে।  ধারণা করা হয়, এখন পর্যন্ত বিজ্ঞানের আবিষ্কার করা সকল যন্ত্রের মধ্যে লার্জ হেডরন কোলাইডারই ছিল সবচেয়ে ব্যয়বহুল একটি যন্ত্র। বিশ্বব্রহ্মাণ্ডের সৃষ্টির রহস্য ভেদ করতেই মূলত বিজ্ঞানীরা এই আবিষ্কারের দিকে মনোনিবেশ করেছেন। ‘বিগ ব্যাং'-এর পর যখন বিশ্ব ব্রহ্মাণ্ডের সৃষ্টি হলো, তখন সব মৌলিক শক্তি ঐক্যবদ্ধ ছিল৷ সে সময়কার অবস্থা ঠিক কেমন ছিল? সৃষ্টির সময়কার সেই রহস্য ভেদ করতেই ব্যাতিব্যস্ত হয়ে ওঠা বিজ্ঞানীদের আবিষ্কারের ফলাফলই হল এই লার্জ হেডরন কোলাইডার!

Human are curious in nature. Scientists have moved to one more step ahead to meet the curiosity. This day is a remarkable day in the history of research science. Because of this, on this day of 2008, a small epic machine called Led Hedon Collider (LHC), finally launched to find the smallest known and unknown information that is happening in the universe. It is said that the research is mainly conducted to get information about God's particle.

It is a round tunnel which is located about a hundred meters below the ground. Its diameter is 27 kilometers. This is the most complex machine in the history of science. It cost around 3.76 billion Euros to make this machine. Do you know how much time it took? Around two decades!

On this day of 2008, the machine was introduced. To get the information from this machine, a special network called 'The Grid' has been linked with numerous computer machines around the world.

At the border between Geneva and the Swiss-French border, scientists of the European Atomic Research Agency (CERN) launched this mega-machine of particle rays for the first time on September 10, 2008. It is believed that, till now, Large Hadron Collider is the most expensive machines discovered in science. To explore the mystery of creation, scientists have focused on this topic. When the universe was formed after 'Big Bang', all the basic powers were united. How was the situation then? সম্প্রতি রোহিঙ্গা সমস্যা আরো বেশি প্রকট রূপ ধারণ করেছে। আর এর প্রভাব এসে পড়েছে বাংলাদেশের উপর। বান্দরবানের নাইক্ষ্যংছড়ি সদর ইউনিয়নের চাকঢালা ও আশারতলি সীমান্তের নো ম্যানস ল্যান্ডে পাঁচ দিন ধরে অবস্থান করছে হাজারো রোহিঙ্গা। সেখানে তারা সীমান্তের ছয়টি পয়েন্টে পাহাড়ে পলিথিন দিয়ে তাঁবু টাঙিয়ে দিন কাটাচ্ছে। বিজিবির সতর্ক পাহারার কারণে তারা বাংলাদেশের ভেতরে ঢুকতে পারছে না।তবে বান্দরবনে না পারলেও কক্সবাজার ও টেকনাফে সমুদ্রপথে অনেকেই চেষ্টা করে চলেছে বাংলাদেশে আসার। যার ফলে গত কিছুদিন নৌকাডুবিতে বেশ কয়েকজন রোহিঙ্গা নারী-পুরুষ ও শিশু মারা গিয়েছে।

চলমান দুর্নীতি ও অর্থ পাচারের মামলায় অভিযুক্ত পাকিস্তানের সাবেক প্রধানমন্ত্রী নওয়াজ শরীফ একেবারের মতন দেশ ছেড়েছেন। আদালতের রায়ে পদচ্যুত হওয়ার পর গত বুধবার লন্ডনের উদ্দেশে দেশ ছেড়েছেন তিনি।যদিও নিজের এই সফরকে সবার কাছে অসুস্থ স্ত্রীর সাথে দেখা করতে যাওয়ার সফর বলেই জানিয়েছেন নওয়াজ শরীফ। উল্লেখ্য, ১৯৯৯ সালে সামরিক অভ্যুত্থানে ক্ষমতাচ্যুত হন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নওয়াজ। পরের বছর দুর্নীতির অভিযোগে যাবজ্জীবন সাজাপ্রাপ্ত হন। পরে সৌদি আরবে নির্বাসিত জীবন কাটান। ২০০৭ সালে দেশে ফেরেন তিনি।

প্রতিবারের মতন এবারেও দেশে বেশ খানিকটা যানজট তৈরি হয়েছে ঈদ উল আযহায় বাড়ি ফেরাকে কেন্দ্র করে। তবে কিছু মহাসড়কে প্রচন্ড জ্যাম থাকলেও কয়েকটি রাস্তা রয়েছে একেবারেই ফাঁকা। তাই বাড়ি যাওয়ার ক্ষেত্রে কেউ যেমন মুখোমুখি হচ্ছেন অসম্ভব সমস্যার, তেমনি অনেকে পৌঁছে যাচ্ছেন খুব দ্রুত। যে স্থানগুলোতে অন্যান্য বছর প্রচন্ড জ্যাম দেখতে পাওয়া যায়, সেগুলোতে এই ঈদে যান সংকট তৈরি হয়েছে। ঈদে যানজটের জন্য সবার কাছে বেশ ভয়ঙ্কর একটি রাস্তা ঢাকা-চট্টগ্রাম মহাসড়ক। এ বছর বেশ ফাঁকা রয়েছে এই মহাসড়কটিও।

Recently the Rohingya problem has become more acute. Its impact is affecting Bangladesh. Thousands of Rohingya have been staying in No Man's land for five days on the Chakdhala and Ashartali border of Naikhongchari sadar union of Bandarban. There they are living under the tents made of polythene in the six points of the border. They are unable to enter Bangladesh because of the guards of BGB. As they cannot  enter  in to the Bandarban, ,many people are trying to enter  Bangladesh via Cox's Bazar and Teknaf . As a result, a number of Rohingya women, men and children have died in boat shed for the last few days.

Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who is accused in running corruption and money laundering, left the country forever.  After the Deposed of the court, he left the country for London on Wednesday. Although Nawaz Sharif said he is going to meet everyone and also his sick wife. It is to be noted that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was ousted in a military coup in 1999. Later, he spent his exile in Saudi Arabia. He returned to the country in 2007.

As usual, a lot of traffic has been made in the country  during returning home to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha. Although some highways have heavy jams, there are few roads which are completely empty. So, in this difficult situation, some are facing trouble to go home where many are getting it very quickly . In some places where tremendous jam has been seen for other years, there crisis has been created in this Eid for transportation. Dhaka-Chittagong Highway is a very dangerous road for everyone to ride the Eid. This highway is quite empty this year.

গেমটির নাম ‘ব্লু হোয়েল গেম’। যা ‘ব্লু হোয়েল চ্যালেঞ্জ’ নামেও পরিচিত। এই গেমে খেলোয়াড়দের বিভিন্ন কাজ সম্পন্ন করতে দেয়া হয়।পুরো কাজের সিরিজ সম্পন্ন করার জন্য সময় থাকে ৫০ দিন। প্রতিটি কাজ সম্পন্ন হওয়ার পর একটি করে ছবি পাঠাতে হয় গেমারকে। একদম সবশেষে চূড়ান্ত কাজ হিসেবে খেলোয়াড়কে আত্মহত্যা করতে বলা হয়। অবাক হচ্ছেন? এটি আসলেই একটি গেম!

 এই গেমটি ২০১৩ সালে রাশিয়ায় ‘এফ ৫৭’ নামে যাত্রা শুরু করে। আর গেম খেলার কারণে প্রথম আত্মহত্যার অভিযোগ আসে ২০১৫ সালে। বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে বহিষ্কৃত হওয়া ফিলিপ বুদেইকিন নামের একজন মনোবিদ্যা শিক্ষার্থী এই গেমটি বানিয়েছেন। আপনি জেনে অবাক হবেন, এই গেমটিবানানোর পিছনে তার উদ্দেশ্যই ছিল, সমাজে যাদের কোনও মূল্য নেই তাদেরকে আত্মহত্যার দিকে প্ররোচিত করা। আর এর মাধ্যমেই নাকি তিনি সমাজকে পরিষ্কার করতে চান!এখন পর্যন্ত অন্তত ১৬ জন কিশোরী আত্মহত্যা করেছেন শুধুমাত্র এই গেমটি খেলে!

সাম্প্রতিক সময়ে পার্শ্ববর্তী দেশ ভারতের উত্তর প্রদেশের হামিরপুর জেলায় এই গেমের শিকার হয়েছেন একজন। পার্থ সিং নামের ১৩ বছর বয়সী এই কিশোর আত্মহত্যা করেছেন। তার হাতে ছিল বাবার ফোন, যেখানে গেমটি চলছিল।ছেলেটি নাকি বেশ কয়েকদিন ধরেই এই গেমটি খেলছিল। ভয়ঙ্কর এই গেমটি ইতিমধ্যেই গুগল প্লে স্টোর থেকে সরিয়ে ফেলা হয়েছে, গ্রেফতার করা হয়েছে গেমটির ডেভলাপারকে।

The name of the game is "Blue Whale Game" which is also known as 'Blue Whale Challenge'. The players in this game are asked to do various tasks. There is a time limit of 50 days to complete the whole work series. After completing each task player had to send pictures of each task. At the end of the game, the player was asked to commit suicide as the final task. Are you surprised? Yes, that’s the game!   

Blue Whale began in Russia in 2013 with "F57", allegedly caused it first suicide in 2015. Phillip Budykin, a student of psychology who has been expelled from the university, made this game. The main purpose behind creating this game was to motivate those to commit suicide who has no contribution to the society. By doing this he wants to clean the society! Till now at least 16 teenagers have committed suicide only by playing this game!

Recently, one of the victims of this game was attacked in Hamirpur district of Uttar Pradesh, India, neighboring country. A 13-year-old teenager, named Partha Singh, committed suicide. He was playing this game on his father's phone. The boy was playing this game for the last few days. This dangerous game has already been removed from Google Play Store; the game developer has been arrested.

অর্থাৎ হৃদরোগ আমাদের খাদ্যাভ্যাসসহ আরো অনেক কিছুর উপর নির্ভর করে, যার সবগুলো হয়তো এখনো আমাদের জানা নেই। হৃদরোগের ঝুঁকি কমাতে তাই আমাদের উচিত হবে রোগের যে সম্ভাব্য কারণটি আমাদের জানা আছে তা এড়িয়ে চলা। ন্যাশনাল হার্ট ফাউন্ডেশনের অধ্যাপক ডাঃ সোহেল এ ব্যাপারে বলেন, পশ্চিমা দেশগুলোতে বিভিন্ন গবেষণায় প্রমাণিত হয়েছে যে দীর্ঘদিন ধরে বেশী পরিমাণে লাল মাংস ও প্রক্রিয়াজাত মাংস খেলে হৃদরোগ, অন্ত্রের ক্যান্সার, টাইপ ২ ডায়াবেটিসসহ সামগ্রিকভাবে নারী পুরুষ নির্বিশেষে মৃত্যুর ঝুঁকি বাড়ে। তাই গরু ও খাসির মাংস কিছুটা নিয়ন্ত্রিত ভাবে খাওয়া আমাদের হৃদযন্ত্রের পক্ষে স্বাস্থ্যকর।

খাবারের সাথে স্বাস্থ্যের সম্পর্ক নিবিড়। কোন খাবারকেই পুরোপুরি নিরাপদ বা ক্ষতিকর বলে দেয়া যায় না, বরং প্রয়োজন সঠিক ভারসাম্যের। গরু-খাসির মাংসের বেলাতেও এটি প্রযোজ্য। তাই হৃদরোগ থেকে বাঁচতে লাল মাংস পরিমিতভাবে খান, আর ভালো লাইফস্টাইল অনুসরণ করুন।

Therefore, moderation in red meat consumption is a healthy lifestyle choice for general population for prevention of heart disease.”

Although no food is totally harmful, no food is totally safe too. Red meat, although a delight to the appetite of some, has some risk to the heart, if not consumed moderately. Strike a balance and enjoy the tastes.
